Darrell can you or anyone else help me???

I am running a car now with aluminum heads and a stock 302 bottom. The heads are 58cc chambers (it came that way)and 180 runners with 1.94 int and 1.54 exh. What bottom end do you recommend it will be a daily driver and I dont want to spend money on things I dont need because I know you can get me the power pack for the money. What size 306,331,or 347 and I was looking at pro power for my stroker.I want to make as much power with out having to spend to much money because I am building a full track car and that is using all my money. Can you give me the bottom end you would use on those heads so I can finish that project. Thanks for your time as always.

Daily driver the Eagle or Scat would work just fine with no problems.

he wants the most power without spending much money..... just go get yourself a nitrous setup, stock bottom end will be ok up to a 150-200 shot

get a CHP 347 why spend all that money and only go 331....get the extra power....you going to end up spend that much with the work on the block getting it put in and balenced....

Thats what my reasoning was. I was gonna go 331 until I relized it would cost the same money as a 347 and i can get more power from a 347.

Once again, what is wrong with the stock bottom end? This is for your daily driver and not your race car correct? Why not keep a stock bottom end engine in the daily driver and just drive it. If you want more power, buy a supercharger for it. Starting multiple major projects at one time is a recipe for disaster not to mention an engine rebuild is a waste of money for what you are looking to do in your daily driver.

+1 on the stock bottom end. I'm running a stock bottom end ( bought from FORD in '99 when they were still manufacturing the 5.0 short block) I'm pushin 550 rwhp on a mild tune for street driving, and have never had a problem, spend your money on quality upper motor parts for dependability reasons.
