Tremec TKO 600 or Astro performance Super T5

Hey guys I have a 1989 Ford Mustang 5.0 Liter with basic bolt ons right now, around 250 hp ,but when I am done with mods I want to have around 500 hp. I currently have a Tremec 3550 that is on its last leg and I would like to upgrade to a better transmission. I have narrowed it done to the Tremec TKO 600 or the Astro Performance Super T5. What do you think?

Stick with a T5, much less work and will easily handle 500 hp if set up correctly.

yeah it is similar, a little cheaper and they don't make dog face gears.

I'd go for the G-force dog face kit with a G force case

Well I bought the Tremec 3550 used and the guy was putting over 500hp when I bought it. I should have known better, but at the time I thought that the Tremec 3550 could handle that kind of power; however, after some research I soon found out that I was wrong...that is why the Tremec is on its last leg...
