Alright so I recently got some 26x10.5 ET Streets and I am trying to move in the right direction to get a little more HP and faster ETs. As of now I have 3.73 gears, subframe connectors, C-springs, Mac Intake, BBK LT headers, 3-pt Front Strut bar + CC plates, and Pro 5.0 shifter. My budget is at about $300 after buying the ET Streets.

Right now I am considering purchasing a Nitrous kit... but I am not sure which one will work the best on my 1990 LX 5.0. I have seen a lot that are plate kits but I have been told they are not the most reliable kits, and Direct Ports are WAY to expensive for me. So what kind of kit would work well on the EFI 5.0 that I have, that will be reliable enough for the weekly drag strip runs?

I have also considered buying some Lakewood Drag Shocks... or AGX 5 way adj. shocks/struts in an attempt to help the traction issues?

Otherwise I was told that for about $300 I could get a decent cam, new valve springs and all the other necessary gaskets to do the swap. I was also going to Home P'nP' my heads and H.O. Intake while swapping everything in and out. However I want to make sure this is possible before purchasing some parts and not being able to finish, and I also need some suggestions on Cams that may or may not need springs along with good combos for the situation?

I am leaning towards nitrous, but with 125sht I am worried I may still have traction/launch issues. However I can only use Nitrous at the track... its not 24/7 power; which comes with less gas use than the Cam alternative, but not as fun.

So help me out here guys.. which of the three which would benefit me the most...?

Thanks
