wtf kind of question is that???

Anyway i'd offer him $150 for the pair if your pulling them yourself. Tell him you found them for that price at another junkyard, it's just a little more of a drive and you'd rather get them from him...... You have to play them against eachother man

They are GT40Ps and that is a fair price.

In stock form the GT40/p don't even flow 200 cfm, they're in the 190s, far from any aftermarket head.

You'll want springs, and a valve job for sure. I had my p heads shaved .030, for a "can't tell shit" compression bump of .5:1. All and all you prolly be at about $250, at the shop with the new springs. Mabe try and port em too. Google TMoss for that.

I thought you were trying to be sarcastic? Think about it, you were legitimately asking is factory ford cast iron heads are better than $1900 aluminum trick flow's? Does that seam logical in any way shape or form?

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be an ass.....

P.S. Webster's defines "better" as the following: of superior quality or excellence

+1, definitely do that before bolting on. you could do some porting yourself too if you have a dremel.

P heads also have the poo-poo plug location, but on the bright side they yield higher compression than the plain GT40. About .5:1. so mill the p heads and tou get about 10:1 for a estimated gain of.....not much but better then 9:1.

Good info.
