Just got back from the track

So i went to the drag races tonight......Its a 1000 ft track

I got my best times i have ever had even though my 60 ft times could improve

1000 ft......12.20 at 85.02
1/8 mile......9.54 at 75.57
330 ft........6.27
60 ft..........2.30

These times all came off the same time slip and each of them was my best for each aspect because i let the car get really cool for this run

so how bad is that 60 ft time for a 5 speed gt with stock gears and pretty much stock car all together

not that terrible, but you should be able to get under a 2 second 60 foot.

I'll post my times as soon as I can find my time slip. I had stock everything at that time. So I will post those times when I find my slip.

Either upgrade to drag radials or just buy wider tires so you can put more rubber to the ground. If you'rea really serious about running at the track then I would upgrade your suspension to a drag setup. That will help a lot.

I drive a total of an hour roundtrip to work and can literally watch my gas gauge drop. So now I dont even drive over 65 anymore. However its a sacrifice I can live with.
