My 79 Coupe Project

Some of you may or may not know. I bought a 79 coupe 4 banger auto. Ive had it under the knife for a few months now. Thought I would post up some pics of my progress. The 2.3 auto is out, the engine bay is painted cast blast. The 5.0 is now setting in the engine bay. The rest of the drive train still waits to be installed. The engine was painted ford blue. Here are 2 pics. Like I said its just the engine setting in there. Which has been a long time coming and glad shes atleast setting in there now. BTW the pics still have the efi intake and dist in the engine. that is changing today.

Thanks zip! I cant wait to get it finished either. Biggest problem is getting my lazy ass out there working on it, especially now its getting windy and cool outside and I hate the cold.

MSO knows I got the 2.3 out, I sold it for $35!!!

Today I got the spare 5.0 and the T5 Im gonna use out of the donor car. I pressure washed the T5 and painted the bellhousing. I would have stuck the T5 in the coupe had I had my clutch on hand.
