New Cam or Stick with Old

Thinking of a new cam or should I stick with what I have or go custom and if custom who? With my mods and adding trick flow or afr 185 heads and a powerdyne or vortech. Heads coming by x-mas and charger at tax time.

the TFS stage one cams works well a bit small but works well in the 5 psi range

Stick with a Vortech and forget about Powergarbage. A good friend of mine makes 520 hp at the wheels with a Trick Flow TFS-51402001 cam (224/232 duration at .050 - .542/.563 lift) and 10 psi from a Vortech S-trim.

Save the $ and buy an race block. 500+ is a ticking timebomb in a stock block.

That's what they say but he has been doing it for years. I keep telling him that too but he keeps telling me "budget build".
