umm either way you spit it...if you plan on putting down about 400-450hp to the crank or pavement, you not going to hook with stock suspension..i say do a mild stroker and rest on suspension...get around 350 hp and be able to plant that...make it so you cant spin tires w/ ease...and you can make a stroker with low compression if you wanna go s/c...but the easiest thing to do is put a s/c ontop that stock motor, make about 270rwhp and do some more suspension stuff, add and intake, then a cam and rockers, then maybe heads down the road...you dont need it all at once..otherwise you'll see about $6-8k gone in a heartbeat too..

it would, he put on just shocks and springs, well you'll need new front struts, strut tower brace, sub frame connectors, caster camber plates, rear quad delete, strong rear upper and lower control arms, thicker front and rear sway bars..and stuff like front control arms and k-member would help, also like little tricks like battery relocation would help...and better tires too

I agree with Jordan. stroker motor (carbed in my opp.) small shot of gas. best of both worlds. good reliable transport with a good kick in the a$$ when a ricer or a chevy pisses you off.
