AC Vents


i have herd about this before but i dont remember how to fix it the vents on my stang dont work is this a common problem it only blows air from the floorboard and above the dash

outside under the hood, you gotta play with the hoses, and or... the switch is bad.

It's always a loss of vacuum to the vacuum motor that is just behind and to the left of the radio in the dash - it has a yellow hose that goes to the heater/ac switch. It just pushes on and sometimes gets pulled off the motor if the switch panel has been pulled out. Other than that, you have to trace the vacuum lines back to the vacuum block.

You cant really say that because in these cars, anything wrong with the system it goes into default mode and shoots it straight out the defrost. So it could be anything in the vaccum system. I have also done quite a few vaccum lines under the hood on the drivers side and at the vaccum log under "a/c" the line is usually broken.

what is the tube coming from the top of the break booster is that a vaccume cause broke it pulling it off
