So actually the frame is tweeked when it is sitting on the wheels. Most cage builders start by leveling the car by the front and rear subframe. That is how the car is supposed to be. The you weld in your supports to keep it straight and level like it is. But, you have to take great care in making sure you have leveled the frame so it is straight before you start. Otherwise it will never be straight again. You should not lift it by the pinch welds that will throw everything off too.

ok so in a way we are bolth right
but i understand what your saying about leveling it by the frame
but using a "A SEMETRICAL" lift, its kinda hard to level it and get it perfect cause those lifts arent always perfect.
so maybe jack stands are a good idea in a way, if there all perfect and your level in your garage
