If you have access to a welder, some stock, and some time to kill, build them yourself. I would not consider that being a cheap skate. The ones you buy are nothing but stock cut to length with brackets welded on that you will either bolt or weld to the car anyway.

Lift. I four use jack stands make sure you put four in the same spots all the way around the car.

maximum motorsports installation instructions say to make sure you keep the weight on the springs. it's most important to keep left and right even, so you don't flex the frames.
Best option - drive on lift second best - ramps last option - use jackstands under the suspension to keep the weight on the springs. |

its safer to just go ahead and buy some it will make the bottom of the car look alot cleaner then just some scrap metal

well that can or cause some problems when you lift the car it flexes, you bolt them on, and when you lower it, it doesnt unflex so your car is kinda tweeked all the time so it throws off your alighment so its best to use a drive on four post lift so all the weight is still on the wheels so your car is just sitting normal, but your have the room and can stand up, so it makes it easier to put on im not saying there is anything wrong with your car but that has happend a few times |
