No 5th Gear
i got a 92 5.0 with a t-5 trans i was crusing down the street today in 5th gear and all the sudden there was no more 5th gear its like nutreul at first i thought the car popped outa gear but theres nothing where 5th gear is now so has ne one else experienced this problem before should i get the trans rebuilt

The gear is broke in the inside of the trans most likely. It would problly be a good idea to get it rebuilt. Another member on here a couple weeks ago had this happen with 2nd gear and the gear ended up that it was broke in 4 different pieces.

ya that sounds like a broken gear.. you def have to re build it
