If you want 295-300 HP go with it, if you want more go with something else. I am going with afr heads, comp cam, har sharp rockers, and probably a trick flow intake.

AFR makes the best heads around pretty much. But if your only looking for 350 go with the Trick Flow kit. But down the road let me tell you. You will want more power lol it always happens. I would buy the good stuff the first time and be done with it

Theres so much contraversy about heads and intake setups these days. Especially when it comes to AFR & TFS. Air Flow Research has been in the game about as long as TFS with ford engines. AFR offers awesome heads, but i wouldnt go as far as to say they've got the best ones around. "Best" is a matter of personal opinion, and its hard to argue a personal opinion with any grounds. TFS makes "some" of best heads on the market for multiple different engine combinations and applications. Their heads can support any amount of power your budget will allow. AFR can do it too. Its up too you. Im using TFS TW street heads, with the street upper and lower.. and it runs great. When i upgrade, im more than confident TFS has the equipment to support the power i want in the future.

Price wise... TFS and AFR are the same basically, maybe a difference of 100-200 dollars in the end. I would say go TFS for any combo you build, even a race engine.

The TFS kits are good street kits but I'd use the TFS-51402001 cam instead of the cam they offer in the kit. There are alot of good heads on the market. AFR, TFS, Canfield, Edelbrock, Brodix, Dart, CFE and Blue Thunder all make good heads depending on the application. Don't be fooled by bandwagon jumpers. Richard Holdener did a cylinder head shoot out last year and TFS pretty much led the field in every category. I'll see if I can dig it up.

yeah but how does that work...what was the rest of the set-up....TFS may have been best heads for that 1 set-up...but on a different could have been worst..

There were tons of cars there with 20+ different setups, i think he tested on mild to wild cars.

Yea I would like to see that thing about TFS leading just to see what the other heads did also and which did what?I am leaning towards brodix for my next setup or just go with the people I got my heads from now and that is tristate cylinder heads.I really like them and they are putting nice #'s on the dyno and holding up also.
