Engine Swap 4cly to a 390 VGT Turbo

Just want to see want you guys would think about it.... It is going to be a drag only car...any suggestions....i have the 9" rearend and the motor i just have to build it...i am going to school right now so i will build my engine their. i have a c6 transmission what would you suggest on doing to it... i am thinking about just getting rid of it because i don't think it will hold the power i am going to be putting out... anybody know anything about tubing a 89 mustang out.....or any specs on a roll cage. I was thinking about going with the 6.0 ford diesel turbo off of a 04 or newer

I do not think that wuld work, In order to properly functon the turbo would have to be controlled by the computer and the computer would not play well wiht you gas motor, I sudjest you get a turbo from another source
