Heating Takes Forever

I thought with a v8 I could be warm in my car. I replaced the heater core about 9 months ago in my car, but now it seems to take forever to heat up, I was thinking it could be the thermostat, any suggestions on what degree to get and brand?

I have a 180 degree in mine and it warms up really quick

your thermostat probably failed in an open state. which is a good safety feature

Rest of the Canadian Chick

Just get an oem thermostat unless you feel the need for a lower/higher temp one because of mods.

Mabey I shouldnt have watched that at work, my pe-pe has gained rigamortus. My girl needs to watch this so she knows how to move lol

but seriously a 180 is about what you want.....but make sure you get one with a fail safe

like the guy with the canadian chick said " its a good saftey feature"

i have a 160 to but thats just to keep it down to about 195
