Engine Kit

Hey guys, i wanna rebuild an engine and i was woundering what kit i should get and your opinion.
I was thinkin' Trick flow, the Trick Flow 360 HP Twisted Wedge Top-End Engine Kits for Ford 5.0L but i dunno. I would prob. Bore out the engine alittle bit to make it fresh. But is there anything else i should get or upgrade while im at it???
I know i'll still need a few things, pistons and what not But i just wanted to ask you guys, you really know your 5.0's!
Also i dont know that the Trick Flow Kit has forged internals, but it's there top of the line so i would assume so, but not sure, do you know? I was hoping to get a kit with forged internals incase at some point i add more HP, i dont wanna have to worry about screwin the engine over.
Im open to advice, thanks!

It doesn't come with any internals because it is a top kit only, the rest is up to you.

The TFS kit is good, if you want forged internals, then you should upgrade to a 347 at the same time. if you are going to bother upgrading to a 347, you might as well do a 408, and if you are going to do a 408 then you should think about a 408 twin turbo kit...well that is how my mind works anyway...

i don't know what year your car is but it prbly has forged internals, and if your tearing it apart and getting new pistons, think about getting a stroker kit, also trick flow kits are nice

that engine kit will work fine , even with a basic rebuild , forged pistons would be a good idea

All 5.0s have forged rods and cast cranks from the factory.

The pistons are forged up to 92, in 93 they were cast.

Anything from TFS is good. If your going to bore the block, like everyone else says, consider getting an entire rotating assembly with a larger stroke crank (3.400) to build a 347. Might as well seeings as your going to be doing machine work anyways.

Ok well thanks for all the help it means alot. And i was just woundering, If i was debating between 331 and 347, i heard that ya get more life out of the 331 and 20 HP + isnt that important to me at this point and time. But say i get either of those the TFS kit will still work ok? Also what about the Cam? I dont know much about Cam's but will the one that comes with the kit be good enough or should i upgrade?
And finally while im at it with the engine out and what not, would i wanna get a new ignition? I heard ya guys say its an easy way to add some HP, maybe i was wrong. I just figure with the engine out now would be my time to do this stuff. As well as a new bigger fuel pump, or is stock ok as well as the lines?
As ya can tell im new at this stuff and i appreciate you patience and your helpfulness, thanks again guys! Im open to options here.

from what I understand your ignition is good enough unless you do FI....but not sure about that....and no there is no proof that you will get more life out of the 331 than the 347...go 347 bro and yes the top end kit will be ok.....from what I understand a custom grind is better darrell put me together a list sounds kinda what you want to do....i am going with the trick flow heads but the bigger and ported set they are about 600 bucks more and a custom grind cam
