Manual Rack Help?


I heard you can put a 79 manual rack on my 88 gt.Is it hard to put on and what else would I need besides the rack?

well i believe the mounting hardware is differant. like the bolts that hold it to the k member. I have a 79 and I was gonna put a newer rack on it, and i have a newer k member and rack, but i noticed the bushings and bolts are differant

I am not going to do it yet I just want to know if it bolts and I forgot to ask what are the benefits of it?Would it be hard to turn?

Not too bad.

If you normally wear a skirt then it is hard to turn, otherwise you'll be OK

You can get a flaming river kit from laurel mountain for $300 with tie rod ends and the steering shaft with u-joints.
