msd ignition


ok i was given a msd multiple spark discharge box "msd 6al" it may sound stupid but fore i install it i want to know exactly what it does and what it replaces, can anyone help me? i think it replaces that stock "duraspark" ignition that is mounted to the fenderwell of my 85 gt, am i right or not any help is good help... thanks guys....

It goes inline with the two wires that go to the coil.

o but does that mean that i can replace the stock ignition box with it or is this "extra"????

It will also work inline. I dod not figure he should be cutting much out. :-)
