T-5 Problems
I just placed a T-5 or what i think is a T-5 from a 93 Cobra into my gt, But i have a problem with it going into 2-4 and reverse. I have 1-3-5 with no problems. Is there some adjustment I can do to resolve this problem.

I just put a 92 gt t-5 in my 89 gt. Having some issues with 4th and reverse and speedo reading waaay too fast. shop said it was the clutch. waiting for my new flyhweel and clutch cable to arrive and then the clutch will go in. it's a mcleod 800. have an hd king cobra in it now.

Synchros are shot. 2nd and 4th and reverse share the same synchro. Same with 1st, 3rd and 5th. You just need a rebuild. All T-5's eventually get this problem, especially if you like banging gears. If you have a high HP application or just want a stronger (more expensive...longer lasting) rebuild, go G-Force. |

chris is right...but g-force only if you're are going to add more HP..if leaving it relatively stock no point..and every t5 will do that a couple times in there life..my buddy was an auto kinda guy..put an t5 in it...(LOVES to bang gears)..lets just say had to rebuild it 3 times over the summer..and only like 225hp to the crank

The funny thing is I can't even find 2-4 or Reverse not running. But i guess it could be the synchros. Looks like the tranny comes out again!
