Most of the adapters come with a lifter valley pan that seals to the block and heads with silicone. They make these adapter for cleveland heads and a 302 or 351w based intake too. Imagine the port blending required there...lol

I don't think I would use them unless there was nothing else available.

I know i'll need a larger pump (something i have now because of the nitrous), along with an AFPR.. which i have, all i need is some good logs and bigger injectors.. ugh, EFI... i love it though.. until it acts up.

Question. Say i use the TFS-R lower, and the Box-R upper... with using the box upper.. and with porting.. am i going to see any loss in low-speed response and torque?
With a 408 and a roller cam you will not have any problems with low end torque. Also, the TFS box upper actually has some runner extensions into the box, so you get decent runner length without choking it too much.

Thanks! I think i missed that issue... because i dont remember reading that article. Thats good info. Im going for more than 408ci.. but even still.. shouldnt make too much of a difference. Can the Box R work with an AFM Power pipe? I'd hate to ditch my power pipe...

That's good to know, like most here I thought it'd be one GIANT glob of silicone on each rail, yuk!

You would be suprised at how many people would actually try that. I wouldnt put it past half-assed people. Anyone know if my AFM Power Pipe will work without any hassle with the Box R?

Well I cant be specific, but a 351 w/alum heads weighs very close to a 302 w/iron heads

I dont, atleast not anymore. Not after Steve Baur swore up and down that rod ratios actually have a major effect on stroker motors. And the fact he passed on the bullshit rumor that the common 347s burn oil, and have bad rod angles etc. I think the only guy that associates with that magizine that i actually credit, and have respect for, is Richard Holdener.

The only part I look at is the combo and dyno numbers...preferably they are the uncorrected dyno numbers...
