Lookin 4 11sec Time Slip


Alright im puttin my mustang back together and all i ask of is an 11sec time slip.So far i got a holly 650 double pumper,vic jr manifold,bbk 1 3/4 long tubes,dart heads,comp rockers,pushrods,lifters,cam(lookin 4 specs)alum driveshaft,3.73,full length sub frames.suspension is all steeda.then i have to choose i have a 347or 351w.when all this stuff was bought it was gunna b a 347.just lookin 4 sum opinions,good advise or help.

for an 11 your gonna have to s/c with those mods....maybe a really big shot.

i say trick flow top end and supercharge it...on top of a 347

wrong...that motor should me 12.2-12.4 area...depending on variables and atleast drag radials slicks better..

with that set-up i'd i would shoot 100-150 shot of nitrous at it and see around mid 11s...but thats pushing the 500hp limit of that 347's stock block...so 351w it and then shoot it with 150-200 shot and run low 11s...for sure

What he said.. Although I run mid 11's with my N\A 347... My car also weighs 2880lbs w\o driver.. That helps too among other things...

my goal is for it to do 11"s n/a.then nitrous.150-175.you just have to have the right set up.i got mickey thompson drag radials.i have faith.

I hope you have some suspension work done too. Going mid to low 11's on motor and high 10's on the gas can be very scary and dangerous if all you have is a fast motor.. Don't crash fucker...

upper arms are steeda double adjustable,hardcore lower,strange adjustible shocks,struts.steeda drag launch springs w/air bag.for now,just got laid off from work so i got set back.

same here...but i still run 12s...good for gt40 intake and heads n/a....are you already running 11s....with 150-200 shot damn...better get some slicks...hello 10s

I dont know much about mustangs,But you could run a Bigger CFM holley carb ,200 shot, Slicks, with a good launch 10's

If you have a 347 you will run 11s without a problem.

I think the same thing.You can definatly get into the 11"s with a 347.

I think the setup im workin with now should b capable.i dont want to go overkill with the carb.bigger is not always better.
