265 metric radial They may be called a 265/85 now. that is what's going on my 4" draglites

yes, as long as you have a dot tire on them. Just slow down for curves, because the front end can slide a little on big curves with the weight of a v-8 up front. The 265 tires were for VW beetles.

265? if i had to guess i would say like a 145 or something like that

Yeah, 265 is a wide tire! I think he ment 165 that's what I have on my 3 1/2" wheels. Hell I had 225's on my 16x7 pony wheels and I think 275 is the widest you can run on a 9" wheel.

You'd be suprised. Ive seen guys try to jam a 295mm tire, on a 9in wheel. Ive also seen alot of idiots end up going to the hospital with permanent scars to their faces.. because they tried to mount incorrect tire sizes and widths on certain wheels.

you've got it my 3.5"'s have 165r15's....i wouldnt go any bigger..they look fine..and sspnotch is right..they dont handle for shit..and you better have good brakes, cuz if you cant slow for turns and you going fast...you're going fast off the road
