Hell yeah! No more vibrations. That really slowed the car down. I can feel a little vibration at low speed/rpm and heavy on the gas, but very little, if any, hard to tell. Man, I seriously need some stopping power...

Oh, yeah. Thanks, Darrel. You saved me much labor hours, not that putting in a clutch and flywheel wasn't fun, but don't want to take it all apart again if I don't have to...

No problem. Glad to hear it worked. I've ran into damn near every problem possible on these cars over the past 15 years. You always have to try the simple free things first.

Dammit all the hell! Got on the freeway today and hit 85mph... guess what?! Vibrations are back! Getting pissed. Any time I mess with the driveshaft, the vibrations change. It's not bad as it used to be, but it is still there...

Wheels get out of balance just like that? I took the shaft into a driveshaft shop. They said it still had the factory balance on it, but was still a little off. So, he fixed it. Got it back on the car, and IT'S STILL THERE! Anytyhing else to look for before I pull the tranny and clutch out?

so if your going 85 and u push the clutch in rpm goes down and vibration is gone... well the shaft is still moving at the same speed so its not that... my guess would be the clutch is out of balence take the flywheel and clutch off bring that to him and see if its in balence..and it wouldnt be the wheels ither cause when the clutch goes in vibrations go away..

put your car in neutral and keep the rpm stedy at 3k 4k exc and see if it does it.. if it doesnt then it cant be the clutch or flywheel but if it does then its pretty safe to say its not the drive shaft or wheels.. do u have the orignal damper on it?
not sure if this would cause that but could you maybe have a loose main cap?
i am gonna say it has something to do with the clutch/flywheel cause thats all u changed..

i know this is a very late reply, just wondering if you fixed the vibration; if not, its your drive line angles that need to be fixed

just throwing this out there but check you wheels to see if they are missing wieghts, if they are out of balace i know it will cause vibration, maybe if its not off too much then maybe thats why it doesnt start till your going so fast??

just an idea
