changed my spark plugs

yep, i bought motorcraft plugs at walmart for $1.99 each, then went to walmart and found autolite plugs for $2.47 for a 2 pack.. i'm gonna take back the autozone plugs tomorrow.. but anyways, i started tonight at about 11pm and finished around 2am with lots of breaks.. it was my first time ever changing spark plugs and wires so it probably took me longer than it would take most.. i ended up with cut up and dirty hands, but it was all worth it when i fired it up when i was done.. everything went real smooth.. after i was done, me and my dad took it for a test drive at like 2:15am.. the roads were real wet cause it had been raining all day (still is).. anyways, he told me to slow down to about 5mph then stomp it.. i told him i didn't want to cause we would get loose or hit a deer (had an extremely close call with a deer last night) anyways, i stomped it, and when i was looking at the gauges, my dad was like look out! and i looked up and when the car shifted into second, we got sideways like crazy and almost ran off the road.. i kept my cool and gently straightened it up without jerking the wheel.. it was a close call, and i think my dad almost shit his pants lol..

but yeah, sorry for the long post, but i just finished up the job a little while ago, and i'm really proud of myself since it was the first time i've ever changed spark plugs all by myself with no help.. just wanted to brag a little bit

lol.......i did that once in my old LT1 Z28......floored it to impress my ex the 1st time i ever met her......ended up goin sideways 45* and then brought it around 90* overcorrecting...

I natarally caught it on the second slide, but it was still stupid and pointless trying to show off and not paying attention....

congrats on gettin the shit done urself though

I have a similar story where I took my dad for a ride out in the country, did a 1st through 3rd nitrous blast (nobody was around). He was almost shitting his pants and told me to slow it down before I hit a deer. I said there aren't going to be any deer around after that. No more than 10 seconds pass a a huge 10+ point buck runs out right in front of my car. I had to slam on the breaks and slide about 100 feet to miss him. My dad was like, see I told you. He has refused to ride in my car ever since.

rain? sweeeeet. my cars almost stock and uhh lets see.. this was yesterday... been raining all day and they recently paved a straight road through my little neighborhood. ripped through 4 gears with no traction haha.

if you think breaking traction is fun now.. wait till you are driving hard for about 3 months alone in that car... it will seem slow.

when i first got my car, i was scared to press the gas pedal more than an inch, now (a year later) i dont even get my heart pumping when fully slamming it.
