Did I say there was anything BAD about a 302? Nope---I didn't think so. I just pointed out that some people seemed to be giving bad information based off their own ignorance. They didn't seem to comprehend the fact the the heads, cam, etc. will cross over to a 351--(except for the intake).

We all like horsepower, don't we? Some is good, more is better, too much is just right! The same could be said for displacement. I'm not saying that the 302 is bad-just that the 351 has a 49cid advantage right off the bat which = more hp&tq in similar engine configurations.
