PowerDyne BD-10 Centri S/C?


i have the chance to land one of these, w/ bracket and pipes...for $850 or i have ALOT of mustang parts that he's willing to trade for...im going to get it if i can no matter what, but what kinda numbers can you see from one of these..anyone have one or used one...thanks alot

Im not sure of the numbers but i have a freind that runs a powerdyne blower with a holley system max set up and his car really moves. He has had no probs with it

cool...im going to put it on the stock upper for right now..until it gets warmer (less snow) and then im going to systemax or performer rpm II

The only probs he has had is tranny, he had to get a tremec but i think that had more to do with his driving. He beats the ever living crap out of that thing lol .

yeah which i dont really do...but i cant find any specs on this damn supercharger..i went to powerdyne's site and nothing on it..that site sucked anyways but w/e...

they are pretty old and i dont think you can get parts for them anymore but you might be able to upgrade it to a bd-11

yeah i went to there site and they said you can upgrade the head unit to the newer bd-11a

i thought so that is really the only thing that can wear out and i would upgrade but thats just me.they put out 6-9psi with the stock pulleys from what i have read

yeah that what there site say...i might boost it up a little...i think the guy said its got the stock 9psi pully...idk yet i'll get used to 9lbs first than work my way up...

alot of people say they are only good to like 10psi dont know why but i dont see why they would be any different than any other supercharger.

yeah...thats a lil reason why im going to leave it 9lbs first...def needing to get it tuned though..thats gunna suck.

i woldnt get it tuned until i built a stroker for it

Its because it uses an internal belt rather then gears...Other blowers use gears...

I would hold out for a vortech or something like that...The powerdyne are cheap for a reason...

um its basically free...im giving him MADD parts that i need gone for it

heres the trade list so far

306 shortblock (1 blown piston)
b303 cam, lifters, pushrods (new)
msd 6a ignition (new)
msd blaster 2 coil (used)
86 GT seats (mint)
sunpro tach and gauges
hurst short throw (like 3yrs old)
mac shortys and mac o/r h-pipe (used badly)

that maybe it..but i have couple other things i really dont care bout that he may take..i really dont care...i was almost bout to throw all that shit away

i see as he's cleaning out my bedroom and shed and giving me an s/c in return...so

well i wont be doing the stroker until spring or so..so im not going to drive around an un-tuned supercharger motor, you're just asking for an blown head gasket or worse...

Well hopefully the belt is not already slipping internally...

There could be a reason he is willing to get rid of it for trade for spare parts...

Once the belt starts slipping in there its gameover...Gotta pay for a rebuild...

Does it come with the brackets? piping, Fuel Parts? ETC?

it comes with pipes, bracket and blower...

i have 255lph pump already in...and have 19, 24, 36 and 42lb injectors..so im going to do the 36's..and i have an AFPR too..
