Tail Pipes
Anyone running tail pipes under the axle in a solid axle? I hate how many bends the tail pipe makes before it exits and was thinking about routing it under the axle instead of over...

With small tubing, you could. Why spend the money on something that isnt going to benefit you though?

Dump the exhaust before the rear axle... it's a little louder in the car though.

I had turn downs. It was loud. I didn't like that, especially since I put my 7 mo old daughter back there now. So, I put the extensions back on and noticed how many bends were in there. I run BBK long tubes, with matching off roax, and flowmasters. Not the most quiet, but still loud enough to piss me off. I wanted to do a side exit, but could not hide the pipes. I may just leave it and run the 3" kit from Flowmaster. Didn't know if any one has tubes that run under the axles...

Noise just goes straight out the side as opposed to have it bounce around under the car. Dumps are very loud inside the car. Not sure that I have ever been in a car with a side exhaust. I was just thinking that for a short pipe length and seemed that there woul dbe less noise to me, but idk...
