... on with the PMS discussion. I bought one last year and am extremely pleased with it. As you know, Anderson offers a basic tune based upon your setup. The tune they provided me was woefully deficient on the fuel curve (way lean) so be careful. The timing adjustments were conservative, but I suppose that's understandable. It's exactly like they say... just a starting point and you'll need to refine the tune to your setup. Good luck.
Thats how i welcome all the newbies.. So Fuck Off....

I didnt bother with a "base tune" from them. I tuned mine myself, and just asked Rick for some heads up stuff with Nitrous tuning in conjunction with the PMS. Havent had any problems thus far. Great peice.

Ass monkeys - not starting anything or defending anybody. Re-read my post. Just pointed out the childish behaviour of one of the "upstanding" members here.... Also, trying to help the guy which is a shit load less than you're doing.

Goblin - good call. Starting from scratch probably got you closer than the base tune. Personally, not sure why it's even offered. I mean honestly, the sheet asked for the brand of my headers and mufflers. LOL!! I just put down "rusty". Going to hook up nitrous this winter, any suggestions or better yet, don't do this? thanks

Brand of headers? LOL Brand means nothing, and i dont have a clue why it would be on that sheet. Which Nitrous system are you going to be using? Without knowing "which" one, or how its setup... the only advice i could give is just pay attention to your plugs and A/F ratios (even with small amounts of Nitrous). Also, make sure you properly setup the Nitrous activation in the PMS via RPM/WOT. That'll insure you dont accidently activate the N20 too early. Remember to atleast pull 2 degrees of timing per 50hp of N20 used (thats for peace of mind and safety with pump gas). And if you notice the duty cycle with the injectors is above 90% WITH the Nitrous, and your A/F ratios are above the safety limit.. consider stepping up to a larger injector, and re-tuning the fuel curve to bring the duty cycle down. Thats about all i can say for now. Good luck man!
