Pretty easy. You replace the axles with 5-lug axles and drums. You replace the front brakes with 5-lug brakes. The most expensive and hardest part of the swap is picking our new wheels.

93 cobra R discs and calipers are the easiest to retro fit, since they are made for fox bodies and were 5-lug

I think most of the stuff on 50 resto is overpriced when it comes to upgrades.

You can get a 5-lug kit with slotted rotors and upgraded axles for about $350

I know ive seen Wilwood brakes for mustangs, i just cant remember where! Another option that i would suggest, is SSBC. They offer a 5-lug conversion for the entire car, AND a rear disc conversion.. in the same kit. And its not priced way out of reach. Its really a good deal, atleast... thats what i think, and im happy with mine.

Can you run a 15 inch rim on the back for the slicks with rear discs? looks like to me the caliper would be in the way?...

Sure, if you run an 11.65" rotor.

Hey no problem mang. I wouldnt even consider rear disc if i couldnt fit a 15in wheel in the back. Works perfect with a 11.65" rotor.

I recommend using factory replacement parts, ie using brakes from thunderbirds and lincolns then going from there...

There would be no problems to run 5-lug drum and 17x10.5" out back... Just make sure you remove the quad shock if it's not out already. Also, to remove the quad shock, it it highly recommended that you upgrade your upper and lower control arms...
