5.0 H.O. questions
ok so im pickin up a 90 or 91 (cant remember) hatch for $500 in the next week. will my front end off the 83 fit on this car? the newer one needs a fender and i know not just the fender is gonna fit. if it will let me know. also its a H.O. motor so ive got a few questions as i get confused looking up parts for it. will this cam work? TFS-51402000 its 221/225 @050, 499/510 lift and 112 lobe. says its for a 351 or 302 so im assuming it will work as the HO has the 351 firing order. as for the car its a 5 speed hatch. im going to throw that cam, a 125-150 shot, victor jr intake, and a quick fuel 650 4bbl, and long tubes with open exhaust on there. out back with some dr's. what kind of numbers at the track possibly? i know its gonna be hard to squeeze alot with the stock heads but there will come a time. sorry for the 21 questions lol but i would appreciate any help here.

why dont u just keep the front end of the 90? u can get a fender for it for like 30$$ and it will be alot easier and look better. the new engine is a roller engine so make sure its a hydrolic rollar cam. get rid of those heads at the very least get a set of gt40 p heads..noone can give u track times all cars are differnt even if they have the same mods even the same driver..if u decide to use the 90 keep it EFI. is the 90 a 5-speed??

stay EFI the car would run much better and be much more efficient.if you want to swap the 83 front end on you will need to use the hood, fenders, bumper

You dont always have to re-tune everytime you change parts. It just depends on what your changing or modifying.
