dude go to a 347 if ur going to stroke it.. but if u stay as a 302, or 306 which is a bored 302, the mods u listed above will net you 300horse.. heck i did over 300rwhp on a stock 91 5.0L motor with a super charger at 6psi and full exhaust! so i am positive heads, cam and intake and bolt ons will do that!!

Theres no difference in tq/hp production between a 302 and 306.

And you dont "stroke" a 302 to a 306 (superman im not accusing you of saying this) Getting to 300rwhp isnt going to happen without heads, so make that the most important component on your list. You can make 300rwhp with a stock cam, so just leave the stock one alone. Just about ANY of the 5.0 intakes will support 300rwhp, whether it be N/A, Nitrous, Blown.. Turbo.. whatever, so its up to you what you want in that department. Your in the right direction with a bigger MAF, injectors, TB, headers and exhaust.

k didnt know there was no hp/tq dif in a 306, but if thats the case get the rotating assembly for a 347. youll make 300whp no problem. but if the block was already a 306 or something then leave it get a nice h/c/i going and youll be fine even without the spray.

300hp at the wheels you can do with out even trying. A set of heads, intake and off the shelf cam will get you there with ease. No need for nitrous or strokers to get to that power level.

You dont even need an aftermarket cam. 300rwhp is easy as pie.

so If i just buy AFR 185cc heads, a cobra intake, 24 lbs injectors and full exhaust. Leave the stock cam, Bigger tb and maf. I knew someone you had more than that and only got 290 whp. Oh, well the my stock fuel pump work with the 24lbs injectors.

You could do it with the stock cam but I'd get a set of 1.7 rockers. Why not change the cam since you will have the engine apart anyway? I wouldn't be too concerned with rear wheel numbers anyway. Chassis dynos are known for inconsistencies. The race track will tell you if you are making horsepower or not.

I'd put a 255lph pump in because it is cheap insurance.

i dunno about the 185 heads, you would need to notch your pistons for those to fit, i have 165s and they make great power. usually guys get 185s if they were to stroke it or supercharge or maybe even a turbo.

I have said this way too many timees the stock vavle reliefs are not big enough for A 2.02 1.60 VALVE THEREFORE YOU WILL HAVE TO NOTCH YOUR PISTONS IF YOU DECIDE TO GO WITH A AFR 185 HEAD iF it was me i would either do a trick flow tw head or an afr 165 and a trick flow street heat intake. And i would not leave the stock pump in its rated to like what 80lph
