RWHP Guess

I have a 95 Mustang GT. I put in a F303 cam, stock heads worked, ported and polished on exhaust side only, stock size valves, push rods, lifters exc, 1.6 rollers, GT40 upper an lower intake, stock throttle body, 75 mm mass air, 19 pound injectors, smog an ac delete, cold air kit, BBK equal length shorty headers, 2 1/2'' exhaust. O yea stock pistons, rods, crank. Im in the process of moving and cant get it tuned yet.

If any one could tell me what they think i might be pushing as in rwhp/rwt that would be greatly appriciated. Feel free to leave comments on any aspect of what i did. Thank you.

yeah and you need a bigger TB.....getting air without fuel hurts not helps and i see in your post in the 94-95 section that your mass air is calibrated for your injectors.so thats good...I am guessing somewhere 2-230 range I said 3-315 in the other section cause I had a brain fart and thought stock was 290 for a second but its 190....its hard to say you really need someone that knows more than me to tell you the things that you need to match up to get it running right a mismatched combo can hurt more than help.....seen people run huge cams on stock motors and they ran better without...someone on here will definately get you lined out bro....good luck

1 milleon horsepower muah hah hah hah......

ok seriously now, if you get it tuned correctly, i can see 275-285hp, however its more realistic to be around 250 when ur done..

now if you get better heads, and do some porting on them with the intake.. then were talking 300 ponies..

240-260 IF you did everything right (ie the correct valvesprings, quality porting, etc)

I'm going to guess a Mustang Dyno will read your car in the ball park of 220-240...

Why were the exhaust ports touched, and not the intakes? Is it an auto, 5spd? I cant see anymore than 220rwhp either way.

Maybe 220hp at the wheels. The port work on the heads isn't helping you much. Especially if it is a backyard port job which I'm going to assume it is since the intake side wasn't touched. The GT40 intake and cam are helping a bit but none of the other parts are adding much power.

The heads were not a back yard job, i had the head job done professionally they told me the intake was large enough for my app. So they say? Also on ford heads, the exhaust side flow very week. So thats why i ported the exhaust side. Correct me if im wrong please.

If its not a back yard job then lets see some flow numbers. That will give us a better idea of what the heads are capable of. If there are no flow numbers its pretty safe to assume they are backyard ported or hacked is probably a better term to use. Anybody that knows what they are doing will flow the head.

Im with you guys....just cause its a shop dont mean he didnt do it in back with a dremel tool and a 12 pack or 2....like darrell said if not I dont see just the exhaust side done and you would be able to give us some numbers....dump em in the trash and start with a new set of trick flows, canfields, or afrs. then you may get yourself into the 250 275 range...maybe...
