easy question

I am wondering what spark plug gap to use as i wanted to replace mine and seem to run into mixed results on what to gap at. I have a stock 1988 5.0L engine and on other forums people said .040 to .045, but anyhting i ever read from ford or what manufactures reccommend its .052 to .054 what do i use...

thanks

*generally* a rich running car benefits from a slightly tighter gap.

if you add more fuel then you need to lower the gap.....if you throw boost i would say at least go to .040 or your going foul out your plugs in about a month.....stay away from the platnium 4's or any platnium that is.....

White thunder is right. Platinum is bad. Just ship me anything platinum, and I'll dispose of it accordingly.
