Tough Decision (408 Stroker)
Im trying to figure out how much streetability will i lose with a carb over efi. Dont plan to drive the car as a daily driver for to long after the motor is put in but just in case. Also which intake and carb would be good for the street? Oh and MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Both a streetable and both make horsepower. Intake and carb choice should be based on the combination, not what is good for the street. A good combination will run good on the street and at the track.

looking for between 450-500 (i hear this is about normal for the 408 strokers) right now i dont wanna spend like 10k on just the motor u know but if the product is good enough i will save for it yah know but as of right now as far as heads and cam i plan to use a custom cam from jay allen and some victor jr heads and doing a roller conversion just dont know about the intake yet

nah im goin to use the comp kit wont skimp on that lol but what carb would u go with cause ive seen alot of people make the switch from efi to carb and most ive seen are always told that they should have gone with a bigger or smaller carb. also not sure if it matters but i may or may not run nitrous at the track just kinda wanna have the option u know

500hp is easy out of a 408. Have Jay grind a tight lash street solid roller for you.
