in a 93 GT fox body, u should have a good amount of room to manuever... depengind on if your installing long tubes or shorties... room should be your biggest concern. just make sure u clean your surface on the heads, and dont over torque your header bolts, but with headers u have to periodically re-torque them

Shortie headers are much easier to install, though longtubes are better for horsepower.

Just installed a pair of Mac long tubes on my 83 this past weekend, having the engine out and installing them was probably the easiest way to do it. Found clearance for tightening bolts pretty tight, had to hammer a box end wrench on a few to tighten.

Some of the tubes seemed to be dimpled on one side to fit the wrench, but the other side had the round edge of the tube close to the header bolt.

Only problem was my gas line and clamp on the front member had tobe moved as headers were sitting on them.

Have some interference with the metal support on the steering shaft flex coupling when turning. Will probably need to flatten it a bit.

Man they come close to the starter (about 3/8") will probably need to build a heat shield or get some header wrap, or will this be okay??

make sure you use "high temp" lock tight on your bolts from your header flange to your H pipe flange
