disc rear end


i want rear discs and 5 lug and instead of getting new axles and brakes can i swap the rear end out of another stang( besides a 93 cobra) with out welding mounts or anything.

Im not sure if the dimensions are correct but lincoln LSCs and mark8s were five lug

the lincoln rear is a little longer and i dont think it has posi. someone tried to sell me one already if anything id get a shorter rear end.

Doesn't an SN95 axle work??

The Mark VIII's have posi but like he said might be too wide..

Lincoln Mark VII and SN95 axles work. They are about 3/4" wider on each side but different offset wheels will fix that problem. Some Lincoln rear ends have traction lok, some don't. I certainly would let that sway my decision if I was looking for a disc brake rear end.
