i was stopping at a stop sign and i heard a noise it kinda sounds like the dust shield rubbing against the rotor and that was my first thought, so i pushed the shield away from the rotor and checked the clearance and the clearance is fine, no scratches or grooves or anything on the rotor, so i get back in the car and notice that after i stop and start moving again i hear the same noise trhis time, i hear it in the right rear and it sounds like something is grabbing, could this be the breaks or suspension...
p.s. i only hear the noise when moving foward with or without using the breaks

Okay I'm gonna make a damn fool of myself when I say this, but on one of my cars (New Yorker) I had what I think you're describing. It ended up being that when the pads were low on my discs, the clips would rub on the rotor right down by the hub. If your car has drums in the ass, well I'm just dumb and ignore what I've said.

yeh i've got drums but the shoes could have broken again and cause that, but last time they where broken off inside and they didnt do that sound but ima check it out in the morning,, thx
