Your stock fuel pump is in tank and will work fine, you just need a return style regulator.

The EFI pump will blow out a dead head regulator in 5 seconds or so.

If i was to carb my car i would use the Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap Intake and a carb pretty good on the street, nothing to big. Thats my thought.

Well I was backing you up earlier about the whole Hot Rod thing but I would have to agree with Baine on this one. I think your best off just keeping a car like yours clean and simple. No 3 foot wings, euro tail lights, spinner rims or pipes sticking out of your hood! Leave that stuff to the ricers. The only thing that should stick out of your hood is a blower, even then it would look better with a cowl hood.

As for the Hot Rod, if you really want to build one, find yourself a 34 Ford PU or something of that sort on E bay. Chop, channel and section the cab and drop 8BA flat head, olds Rocket or even 331 Hemi out a early Chrysler with a strait axle front end and the Firestone Dragster white wall DOT slicks out back.

Or if you want something a little out of the norm, you can find a backwards cam for a SBC and have the exhaust come out of the intake and put carbs on the exhaust ports, then you can cut a hole in your hood and have the exhaust pipes sticking strait up out of your hood.

This is all just so take for what you will. I'm not trying to talk shit or even tell you what to do, just trying to give some suggestions.
