Why did he pick the wrong car? What makes it the wrong car? Is there a definition in Webster's dictionary outlining what a hot rod is and does it list the specific cars that can be a hot rod? I have not seen anything that says what cars can be hot rods and what cars can not. Its personal preference.

if a mustang can be turned into a giant lawn mower then i think it could be turned into a "HOT ROD" it may not be what most of us would do with our beloved stangs but to each his own....

You can use any of the ford racing cams nothing bigger than the f303 becase of piston to valve clarence.

yeah but for the money there NBD...i've used all alpahabet cams and none are that great...the b303 and f303 are good enough and get the job done, but there old technology..for the money get a trick flow stage 1 cam or a cam from comp, crane, lunati, crower, isky something along those lines

I agree as shown in a earlier post by me!

Why isn't a Hot Rod? I would call mine a Hot Rod. It's loud, fast, and impractical. There is no AC, heat, music, it's a bumpy ass ride, it turns heads, makes kids smile, scares old people and I love every second in it!

I was just saying that I think it's the wrong car to do that with because I think it would look bad IMO.
I would bet you anything you could turn a fox body stang into a lifted 4x4 with 33" tires but if someone came here saying they were going to do it, I would try to steer them away from it and suggest they get a truck!
