When I First Start My Car It Stalls?


in the morning or when ever i cold start it it stalls then i have to restart it and hold it 1000 for a few seconds till its somewat warm to keep it self running any idea why?? helpp me please

usually cold start problems may have to do with the IAC. clean it and see if it helps

its connected to the throttle body. use this for help in the future if you need it. open up the attachment

when i clean mine i use carb cleaner. works pretty good.

thanks by any chance could it be that the idle was to low it was at 500 so i adjusted it to like 600 700 around there now i have to wait till its cold to see if that was it

well does it only happen the motor is cold or does it happen all the time??

just take off the 2 bolts off the IAC, disconnect it from the TB and then take it out its wire harness. spray some carb cleaner in it to disolve the carbon build up into the two openings. and then to put it back on just connect it to the TB, put the two bolts on and then connect the wires to it. and see if it helps.

start with the easy stuff first.
