Fuel Rails

I just finished building a 306 with DSS -13cc pistons, (8.98:1 CR) TF 58cc heads, TF 1.6 roller rockers Anderson HiRev valve springs and I'm planning on running 24# injectors with a Accufab AFPR, do I need to upgrade the stock fuel rails and fuel pump? I will be installing 70mm throttle body along with a 80mm MAF

the rails are fine to support your engine easily, the pump is alway s a good idea for the future and if it has some miles on it as well

Stock pump, highly recommende. Stock rails should be good for around 500hp... should also do adjustable fuel pressure regulator...

Yeah I plan on running a Accufab AFPR. What size fuel pump do you reccomend, and also inline type or intenal fuel tank type?

yeah i would go with a 255 lph in tank pump. That compression ratio would be good for throwing some boost at it other than that it is kinda low

Umm...it's not a stroker, it's a 306. But that doesn't matter anyway... I just love how every body says to kiss a stock block goodbye with boost! ! !

shurb - if I were you,I would replace the in-tank pump with a higher-flow replacement(only because stock units are proven un-reliable in my experiances). Your rails are fine for what you have.

nevermind,im a little in thre morning and i have no clue as to where i came up with a stroker!!Some blocks will last 2 seconds and some wil last 4 years making over 500hp its still a stock block and if i built something that was gonna be making over 500hp i would buy an aftermarket block.

And i was not referring directly to boost, just power in general
