Its notbad we built a setup for bio deisel for under $500 ( note biodeiesl and veggio oil not the same veggi oil filter and pour in take but if you live where i do il you have to heat it where bi diesel you take out the fatt and add methanol to stablize it and it is as good as deisel if not better I been thinking veggi oil i can run a seprate tank heat it using 110 v water heater elements and insalate the hell out of the tank and lines i have a 2000 watt inverter already

We have some guys that have a fleet of PS diesels that they run bio diesel in, and they make it themselves and it cost them $1 a gallon after they filter it. So $33 to fill up a diesel rocks! just know that you will replace the $400 fuel pump about every 12 months or so. but with the savings on fuel its worth it.

What are you trying to say? If you are saying it is a power adder than I disagree. It lowers combustion intake charge which puts you at less risk for detonation. Lower intake charge by itself might provide a little power but being further from detonation allows you to do other things (more boost, more timing, less retard etc..) which will add more power that you would not be able to add safely without risk of detonation if you did not have the lower injection temperature. So indirectly, it does not increase power but allows you to tune or add to what you have for more power safely.

Water injection is not a power adder. Water injection is simply an intercooling type of device. It allows more compression or boost for a given fuel octane rating. There are 3 power adders. Nitrous Oxide, Supercharger and Turbochargers.

I guess I should have used my words a little more carefully in my first post-I agree that water injection by itself does not make more power, but allows you to add more boost, timing, etc... . Sorry for the confusion
