Need Helpp


i was told that the upgrade cam to get was the alphabet cams either E,B or F but i was looking in summit and it said mustangs with mass air flow only im goin carb. if i cant get those which other one can i get to upgrade my stock one and one that sounds really good

what is the rest of your setup look like? A cam is an important feature of the car and will work the best if matched to the rest of your setup. Such as your heads and lower intake and the size of your carb.

well right now its all stock i plan on putting a intake maniflod and a 650 carb, i might get gt-40 headsto upgrade the stock ones cause i dont have money to get good good ones i want to just upgrade everything for now but i want a decent cam and i want that nice mean sound out of it

i have ported gt40 heads, b303, ported cobra lower/explorer upper, mac lts, o/r H. and flows dumped
mine sounds like this

Just remember to check the clearance but with 1.6 roller rockers you should be able to go .535 lift look at the crane saterday night special comes with double valve springs lifters and retainers for around $300 .520-.529 296 300 dur.

Lift is not a major factor in valve to piston clearance. Valve timing is the major factor. The over lap period is when valve to piston clearance becomes an issue which is NOT at max lift.
