Pypes on 5.0 Quiet?
I was just wondering why my new pypes exhaust for my 5.0 is so damn quiet? I have the same exhaust on my 99gt and it just screams. They both have stock headers and midpipe? Any suggestions to open up the sound a bit. I will get another midpipe but cant do o/r because of emmisions. thanks

well if you get headers and a catted h/x pipe it will definately improve the sound......and you probly wont wanna do this and i know a lot of people on here dont like it but it would be louder if you dumped the exhaust

The 3 inch tips make a big difference on the sound. My friend put a h-pipe and cat back on is 2004 mustang and it was louder than my 5.0 with heads and came. Mine is louder at idle.
