If you get it tuned really well with some port work on the heads you might see that number. With a carb, you could get way more aggressive with the cam though. Why use a cam made for computer control with a carb? Might as well get a solid roller set up.

that setup to the wheels without spray, MIGHT be 260-280. I am really not for sure...

i have an aod, 4:10s, lts, o/r H, dumped flows, porter gt40 heads and intake, B303, and it is not tuned...I dont know what kind of numbers it puts down but it is a torquie little motor.

good luck trying to find gt40p heads? who told you that...they actually pretty easy to get...try landing gt40 cast iron heads...alot harder..

whats up with the sig ryan?

and true if i were him i'd go carb'd and do alot more agressive of a cam..solid would be a great idea for that..

12's is easy with most any mods...i'd shoot for 11's...get some major work done to the heads or save and get some aluminum ones or look in the windsor heads from world products...there cast iron...flow pretty well (non ported) and there pretty cheap, like $450 each or less i think

im trying to go the "junkyard" route tho. or i would be buying some good heads. im on a budget right now and i just want to see 11's the cheapest way possible. and plus ive got a bet riding on this. its a fully gutted car so you have to note the weight reduction also. i am going carbed and the tfs cam seems pretty fair. i might go comp nitrous cam or somethin. they've got a few specified for the 5.0 motor. i know its going to be an HO motor so i can use a 351 cam as well. the alphabet cams wont work or id be pulling the brand new e-cam out of the other motor i have. its never been ran but it locked while sitting in the rain. it was a junkyard motor also.
