Would this be worth it?

1991 MUSTANG GT (CASH ONLY )

So I emailed this guy and talked him down to 2800. He said the body had over 100k on it but the engine only had 70k. Does it seem like a good buy? I haven't seen it in person yet but I plan to this weekend.

Yea I know, the guy didn't really seem to want to go into detail about it, other then the milage. Is the rear bumper missing? or is that body style made like that?

its a gt with a LX rear bumper or no bumper, i cant really tell for sure, and it has 83-86 model taillights, so im betting its been hit in the rear before. If you go look at it look under it and look at the metal bumper and see if its bent.

i actually think it may be an LX that has be tryed to convert to gt because it still has the LX bumper and the front bumper is missing the ford symbol which makes me think its an aftermarket plus it doesnt have the fog lights so i guess it could be either or

i think its funny how 98% of people list mustang 5.0's as car with xxx,xxx miles on the body and xx,xxx miles on the motor? what did we all have a meeting i missed that EVERY mustang has to have a motor rebuild at 100k...Its seams to me that not 1 mustang has the original miles on the motor..

haha yes mines 130k body and 90k engine, so not only did they change the engine but it was wrecked when i got it...

my guess is mustangs get beat on really bad, but thankfully as i got it in driving condition for $800, $200 later its good to go...

I would think it is because these cars at 20+ years old give or take a few. And finding a bone stock fox body or unmolested fox is getting rare. And alot of them have been parted out over the years, and still are.
