the edelbrock is a cheap little carb that is easily adjustable, but wont make good power..i wouldnt reccomend a demon unless its a mighty demon which you dont need...i think a holley 600cfm or 650cfm would be fine for that set-up..

Performer, or the Air Gap version. Most dual plane intakes will work.

yes the performer is an ok intake...the regular rpm maybe a LITTLE better...but i think you're best performance would be out of a edelbrock performer rpm air gap...i had one on a edelbrock aluminum headed 306 w/ comp cam, and a holley 650cfm double pumper and made about 315rwhp

i made good power with a stock longblock and the holley 4160 series 600cfm carb with a weiand dual plane intake (i believe it was the "action plus"?). driveability was as good or better than my current EFI.

your telling him a single plain ?....its probably going to be a street caredlbrock performer RPM, with a holly 650 vacum secondary thats perfect and will be the best on the street with what your setup is single plain.......
