the edelbrock is a cheap little carb that is easily adjustable, but wont make good power..i wouldnt reccomend a demon unless its a mighty demon which you dont need...i think a holley 600cfm or 650cfm would be fine for that set-up..

Performer, or the Air Gap version. Most dual plane intakes will work.

yes the performer is an ok intake...the regular rpm maybe a LITTLE better...but i think you're best performance would be out of a edelbrock performer rpm air gap...i had one on a edelbrock aluminum headed 306 w/ comp cam, and a holley 650cfm double pumper and made about 315rwhp

i made good power with a stock longblock and the holley 4160 series 600cfm carb with a weiand dual plane intake (i believe it was the "action plus"?). driveability was as good or better than my current EFI.

yeah the torker II are good intakes but they do have a higher rpm operating range than the air gap...
