My question to you is....Do you just read a lot of magazines? Or do you actually have first hand experience?
Actually, i do read magazines. I do have real world, first hand experience as well.

But, having ran high n/a compression on the street, it was a pain in the ass for me, just for me. I know there are guy's like Darrell who just fight through it. But high compression HOT ROD's not crotch rockets are sometimes difficult to tolerate.

What Goblin must not see is that a Hyabusa does not require the same cam spec's, air needs and fuel need's that a 12:5:1 408ci motor do.

That was basically my point, was that if you have been there, you'd understand.
Okay, your right. A sport bike does not require the same airflow, or cam timing, fuel curve or amount of fuel per completed cycle. What i want you to realize is that the basis of my point is, they DO have high compression, and the supporting mechanics to utilize it. Just like a small block ford with high compression, and its supporting mechanics. They're different engines, but the concept and idea is exactly the same. Ive run high compression honda engines on the street before on a daily basis, and they ran fine. Yes, again.. those are different engines, but high compression is high compression. If you can support it, it will work fine. If its not supported, or setup properly (even if it was strictly a race car) ofcourse it will give you problems, and headaches.

Now, im not saying you dont have a clue, or you didnt set it up properly, but you did say you had fasteners coming loose from vibration, and overheating problems, which would indicate problems esle where, not because of running high compression. Ive been there, so i do understand. But hey, its your experience, and your most certainly allowed to share.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
