where do i plug in my scanner

where do i plug in the code scanner on my 90 lx...

the connectors can be found behind the driver side strut tower. the following picture shows what they look like,

but they may still have the cover on them which looks like whats in this pic (although this pic is of a 94/95)

Make sure your scanner is for an OBD1 computer otherwise it wont work. You prob know already but just in case..

thanks yeah my brother has an obdI for his s-10 blazer(gm) but it doesnt work with my mustang.

just use the jumper wire method shown HERE

Is it just for GM? Because the ones I have seen you can change the cartridge for different auto makers.
