Removing Dash Vents?
Anyone tell me the secret to removing the vents and trim in dash? Need to remove today so I can paint. Please help!!!

idk...sorry...i need to remove the vents above stereo and heat stuff...cuz installing gauges...

Ok, where the vents are, there are two clips on the bottom and two on top. Is that the clips? I don't see buttons on the sides. I guess I'm a tard or something. Damn, guess just gonna rip them biotches out! LOL

where the axis points are (where it turns) those gouble as clips.... i am not sure how u take the whole vent housing oit if thats what u mean???

Well I managed to get the drivers and passenger vents out, the whole housing. No my prob is getting the damn dash pad off. I can't get to the bolts behind them? Suggestions without taking out the dash? Of should I just paint the dash pad while it's on and slip in my black vents?
Oh boy...........me and my bright ideas.

yeah dashe's are a bitch...there are bolts on the back side against the windsheild that are impossible for me to get..and i've seen people never get these dash's back in the right way some times..

Well, I can't get the dash pad off so I'm trying to pull the vent housing out of the dash pad area. Anyone been successful with that. I have black vents to put in and I can just paint the existing dash pad. What a chore. Least painting the other stuff was a cinch!
